To those attending a college or university in Florida, know this:

unless a ended, HB 7, now making it's way through the Florida legislature, will BAN any discussion of race or sex in college classes. Take a moment to let that sink in.

So, how does this effect you? Well, for many potential employers or places in other states where you may want to pursue a master's or a doctorate it will put an asterisk after your degree to note that it was granted by a school that encouraged you to disregard inconvenient facts, ignore history and discriminate against "different" people.

Some "degrees" are not really worth listing in your credentials. And I doubt many hang framed copies of their "Trump University" diplomas on their walls---for much the same reason that you will not be too proud of yours.
