"SNIP......

Amy Zegart: “The way in which the U.S. disclosed intelligence ahead of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine could drastically change geopolitics in the future.”

“The disclosed intelligence wasn’t just about military movements. It was about secret plans at the core of Russia’s intelligence operations.”

“It is hard to overstate how much of a shift this represents. Intelligence is a closely guarded world, one where officials are loath to publicly air what they know, or how they know it, for fear of putting sources at risk or revealing to their rivals just how much information they have.”

It helped prepare Americans for what was coming, build up support for Ukraine, and probably pissed the heck out of Putin.
Putin likes to be a secretive spy master, always ahead of everyone else. And Biden was way ahead of him.

Thanks go the CIA and military intelligence officers for their excellent work. They have been quite accurate.

And thanks to the agents in the field who are doing dangerous jobs, especially right now.

Spilling Putin's secrets, hitting him hard in the wallet with the severe sanctions and twisting the arms of world leaders and CEOs to do the same.

It has all been very clever and I think carefully crafted.

Somebody has been handing Biden extremely good intel.

Putin has to wonder where the heck the leak is coming from.

Putin has been playing a psych-op program against the US. Joe is turning the tables.

I think psychologically every single thing Biden did was designed to leave a big psychological mark on Putin.

Think about it. Putin losing some of his wealth which is a big cocoon of security for him. Then his oligarchs who are a source of support are angry at him. Then Putin does not know who he can trust due to leaks. Putin becomes more isolated and fearful.

Putin is going to need to get into therapy before this is all over.

Russia's troops looking incompetent as well.

Putin has to be very angry and uncertain right now.

Oh and a couple of times leading up to the invasion, when Biden was asked a question about Putin, Biden chuckled. Maybe that was another poke at Putin.

the cyber world rather than secret agents who would be in danger if found out.

We know there are US CIA and military intel in many US embassies around the world. So there are still humans doing work.

We know that Putin has cultivated human US assets over a long time. I assume the US has done the same thing in Russia.

I also assume Zelensky has friends in Moscow. He seems like a shrewd and sharp fellow.

But yes I would think that once Trump had access to CIA and military intel names, many may have had to take cover.

It may have come from multiple sources.
That could increase accuracy, and make all the leaks much harder to find.
