spreading truth in Russia?
From everything I've been listening to, I think opening up regular Russians' eyes to the truth - along with taking down their economy - is key to overthrowing Putin and ending this nightmare.
Also - are the economic sanctions having any effect?

(25,853 posts)People believe what they want to believe. Plus, most people are not at all good at thinking critically about anything, or asking questions that need to be asked. Plus, history and science are often poorly taught in our public schools. Add to that the fact that most people never again read a book after they're done with school.
Spread truth here first, if possible.

(12,440 posts)So the population is mostly watching State TV.
Much too soon for the sanctions to have effect.
Russia is a fairly independent country, self sufficient and don't forget, they were standing in bread lines just 20, 25 years ago...they're not going to freak out if McDonalds is out of Chicken McNuggets.
The sanctions will take hold over the next several months.
But right now, they're just going on with "business as usual", paying vendors in Rubles. I'd venture to guess they're freezing prices so food doesn't shoot up in price. If you operate your own economic bubble... it's not as susceptible as those nations with truly global economies.

From their messaging site: https://1920.in/
Squad303 gives you a tool that allows you to send text messages from your phones directly to randomly selected Russians.
Let them know the truth. Let them know the power of the free world!
https://www.thetechoutlook.com/news/new-release/software-apps/who-is-squad303-that-is-attacking-russia-with-text-messages/
Who is Squad303?
Squad303 has emerged on both Twitter and Telegram messaging apps. They have released a video in which they have a clear message to Russian President Putin. In the video, they said the Russian nation has to pay a big price because of what Putin is doing in Ukraine. They further said that the joint action of the free world, as a response to Russian aggression will lead to the collapse of the country.
In the video they further said nearly 150 million Russians dont know the truth about this war. They have said that they have been served with the lies of kremlin propaganda. They also said that there is no free media in Russia anymore.
Squad303 has developed a tool through which people can send messages to Russian people to let them know about the current situation.
What is the Squad303 text tool and how to use it?
You have to first visit this website 1920.in. This website has been booked with the Indian extension .in. Now after visiting the website you will a phone number and a text message that you can copy. Now after you have copied the text and the message you can then send it from your phone. There is also a refresh button that will help you to get new numbers on which you can send more messages.

Anonymous Ops Inject Information into Russia with Media Hacks, Millions of Text Messages
Anonymous programmers Squad303 created a tool that allows non-hackers to make a positive contribution to the largest and most successful cyber operation in the history of the world.
Squad303 focused on nonviolent information campaigns by enabling people from all over the world to send text messages to randomly selected Russians, the group said in a video posted on Twitter today. For this purpose we have created the 1920.in tool. Within 48 hours the people of the free world sent the Russians 2 million text messages on their cell phones. Thank you for that! Dont stop! Ukrainians are fighting with real guns. We can at least with our smartphones.
The project is named after the Battle of Warsaw, or Miracle on the Vistula, in which Poles defeated the Soviet Red Army in August 1920. Every day the citizens of Ukraine prove that this miracle can happen again, Squad303 added. Lets help them!
Participants in the campaign urged others on social media to make the messages personable, include a flag from the senders country, include pictures or video, and to be respectful if the recipient of the text message engages the sender.
Pretty obvious that messaging rates will apply.
