Haven't heard about any numbers of cases; hospitalizations or deaths in Ukraine.
The mass movement of refugee's into neighboring countries - what are those countries doing to minimize Covid related problems?
What's the situation with respect to vaccines?
Don't really see people wearing masks.
I know absolutely nothing about Russia and Covid.

(745 posts)They count deaths differently. Like if you had Covid and something else they attribute to the other thing, while in the US we have attributed to Covid.
But if you unpack their total 'excess deaths' - they had more deaths than the US but have less than half the population. Thus, most of their population probably had one variant or another by now. I don't know about Ukraine but it could be similar.

(16,829 posts)Ukraine is around 35%.
At this point I doubt that anyone is getting tested or vaccinated. That doesn't mean there isn't any Covid.

(86,571 posts)That I saw last week there were lots of people wearing masks. At this point, since things have declined considerably, I can imagine masks might be hard to find if available at all by now.
