I am sorry but the citizens of russia will have to suffer for their support of puketin.

Stand up and remove puketin and then we can move forward.
Fact is many people in russia support puketin.
69% have a positive view of Putin in January 2022, and 71% approved of the Russian president in February 2022 (before the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine). Levada Center poll. ***Supposedly a Russian non-governmental research organization.***
Those are very high approval numbers. Turn their economy OFF. They approve of this war and puketin.

https://www.statista.com/statistics/896181/putin-approval-rating-russia/ This site gives more facts about puketin's historical huge support. He did not do this on his own. He has massive support from russians. Russians saw this coming and still supported him! This polling is out of Germany and aligns with the other polling.

*****This is just an opinion that I would like to discuss with civility.****

on putin's popularity. He wins elections and get "high numbers" the same way Saddam Hussein did. I don't think there are many people willing to risk the consequences of voting against him, or speaking against him.

3. Ambassador McFaul spoke about this.

He said the people in rural areas, older people, not well educated, watch state TV and are brainwashed. The people in urban areas, younger, more educated are anti-Putin. McFaul said that there are many more anti-Putin Russians than are reported. With this new law that Putin passed a protester will get 15 years in jail, and most likely beaten, according to McFaul.

Would you go out and protest in the streets knowing that you will end up in jail for 15 years?

Putin's new law has driven all of the legitimate news outlets out of Russia, BBC and CNN are out, not risking jail time for its newscasters.

The internet blockage will only make matters worse, people will not have access to the truth.

It will take 10's of thousands, hundreds of thousands to hit the streets for protests to be effective.

This is what the Putin Party (GQP) wants for America.
