More proof that even if Russia wins the conventional, which now isn't a done deal by a long shot, they lose in the long game.

So called "renewable energy" is a fig leaf for gas, and now coal.

Germany fucked up badly.

Now they will have to burn MORE coal which will make them LESS able to utilize their existing renewable energy infrastructure.

Without very substantial changes to our industrial-consumer economy, solar and wind energy schemes will only increase our long term dependence on fossil fuels.

Many people predicted Germany's increasing dependence on Russian natural gas would end in catastrophe.

This catastrophe has come sooner than expected.

it looses fewer particulates than coil or oil, but it sill is a big source of CO2.
