(3,341 posts)The consumption was very low, the oil companies had to lower their prices, it is something that in economics is called "demand/offer", and I have to think she knows that, but as a good republican she has to try to twist facts.

(296 posts)The price of gas jumped 10-20 cents a night for the last four nights here in Western Pa. They are charging more for the same gas they have had in their supply tanks for weeks. How is that right? Or even defensible? There are no shortages as of yet, but they are banking on there being some in the future. But that does not mean the gas already bought and stored should be getting pricier by the day.

(4,973 posts)She is also good at complete denial. As in she would be one of the people standing as the water rose loudly discussing roses because she refused to accept that there was a flood. So, one or the other! (I used to have to serve this woman when she and her hen party would come into the cafe` where I worked in Nashville.)
