I think an overlooked aspect of the sanctions is that, due to the way how modern app-based trading works, this is about to turn into one huge casino.
I don't want to know how many people are buying wheat-futures with 10x leverage right about now.

Commodities brokers who cannot take possession of their purchases should be ineligible for participation in the market. Free markets are not intended to be Free-for-all markets. One concept works with regulation and rules, the other is a slow-motion train wreck that leaves people's lives in taters and should be banned.
There are laws against pyramid schemes and confidence scams...this should be no different at all!
