Yum! Brands Pausing Investment and Development in Russia

https://www.yum.com/wps/portal/yumbrands/Yumbrands/news/press-releases/yum+brands+pausing+investment+and+development+in+russia+redirecting+profit+to+humanitarian+efforts

Unlike McDonald's or Starbucks, Yum! isn't closing its stores there altogether; however, I'm not sure if they have the ability to do so, since all their branches seem to be owned by independent operators under franchise or license agreements. It remains to be debated whether that's sufficient or not.

FWIW, Yum! owns KFC, Taco Bell, Pizza Hut, and Long John Silver's.
