As the family should sue and whoever mad the false report should be charged instead. They were probably hoping the Enforcers would have shown more force, which apparently one came close.

…to figure out the kid had to be Black.

Just waiting for DeSantis to propose a bill that makes it a felony to be in the possession of allegedly-stolen property, even if it umturns out to be yours.

Getting fired.
Being charged with false arrest.
Getting charged with malicious assault, and serving the max if convicted, which the video clearly shows they should be.
Their names being made public with pictures.

The era for "tolerance" and rationalization for such behavior from law "enforcement" should end. NOW.

The police don't need defunding, just delousing.

WTF do they think they are "protecting" the public against, anyway? ONE scared 12 year old kid on a bike? Seriously? It takes eight of them to subdue such a serious threat to society? If they are this eager to hurt people, send them to Kyiv, and let them take part in the city's defense. They'd get their chance to be tough guys soon enough. But they wouldn't want that, would they? People like that wilt like overcooked spaghetti when faced with an equal number of opponents, all of whom are all capable of shooting back.

is the kid he "stole" the bike from. Nobody was interviewed, according to the lame story.

Then I am curious how the bike was so definitely identified as the one he got for Christmas.

There is more to this, and it could be very simple to deal with. Or not.

Sounds like the accuser thought he could "steal" the bike with police assistance.

And the banter about the boy doing community service.

The one who has a legitimate civil complaint is the 12 year old boy against the police who treated him the way that they did.

I'm way past getting sick of these stories.
This needs to stop.
These police need to lose their jobs and pay civil damages - there have to be severe consequences because the consequences to date haven't deterred reoccurrence. We need a big legal jackhammer to break through these thick, ignorant racist skulls.

will be paying for it. Not only should all charges be dropped, each and every cop in this video needs to apologize to the kid and his mother. Outrageous. The attack lawyers must be lined up around the block.
