now at 100 seconds-- the closest to midnight it's been since inception in 1947.
But, it hasn't been updated since Ukraine started.

(16,846 posts)an assassination of Putin some day soon, but just think about what would happen if an assassination of Biden or Biden and Harris took place. Just how divided would the country be if Kamala Harris or Nancy Pelosi became President? It would be a big ugly mess! I think it would make the RWers more powerful and could possibly be the end of Ukrainian sovereignty.

(49,001 posts)You don't know how to turn off or override your "assistant" and spell it yourself when it gets it wrong.
You don't know how to spell grammar, even.
You think building smart phones is mainly about repurposing some empty buildings. No wonder you think details like spelling don't matter.

(7,772 posts)I care.
I will die someday. I'm getting old.
But unlike that disgusting thread here the other day, on how they are not afraid of nuclear war, because they are going to die someday anyway, I care about humanity. I am not a sociopath.
I don't want my last thoughts to be that 95%, or more, of the human race is going out with me.
Call it 'On The Beach' syndrome.
I care.

Nothing seems to go right.
I have been grateful for years that my woes have not been worse. Frozen flowers are nothing compared to 2 million refugees fleeing Ukraine. But, dammit, can't the world catch a break? Is it too much to ask for a few flowers not to have their bloom cut short?
