(246 posts)I have a seasonal business and this is the time of year when I pay out more than I bring in so today's contribution is just a fraction of a drop in the bucket.
I also just donated to Bernie. I almost always donate when I get an ask from his people because I am 1000%behind that man. No one ceaselessly and tirelessly speaks out for the greater good more than he does. I am so grateful we have him on the scene. The tireless curmudgeon for good. I know he is sometimes a controversial/flashpoint figure on DU, but come on, the guy is 80 years old and not giving in and not giving up. Ya gotta admire that even if you don't agree with him in all ways.
But I digress...My point is my 5 bucks is a paltry sum. In fact, kind of embarrassing to post about. The reason I am doing so is to support others who only want to give a tiny amount at this time. It all adds up. It really does. Just think if 200 people give $5, it turns into $1000 and that'll buy a decent amount of food and assistance. So don't feel bad about giving a little. Give what makes sense for you and know that it still matters.
