...that this has not been a free market for 50 years. It has been subject to cartel pricing.

The only thing we know is that energy, no matter it's form, is the most valuable commodity on earth next to water, especially in an industrial world.

The fact that we subject ourselves to cartel pricing, by not investing in viable alternatives, is appalling.

It is the major component of the current threats to human existence looking forward in the next century.
