Hillary Clinton Says No to 2024 Presidential Bid -- U.S. News & World Report

Hillary Clinton is disappointing some politically active people. And it's not just her supporters.

The political figure the right wing loves to hate made it very clear Tuesday morning that she is absolutely not running for president again. That's a minor blow for the part of the Democratic base that wants her to make another try, but it's a bigger blow for Republicans who have raised a great deal of money over the years by warning GOPers of the specter of a Hillary Clinton presidency.

"No, no," the 2016 Democratic presidential nominee and former secretary of state said with a laugh during a "Morning Joe" interview Tuesday morning, when Clinton was interviewed to honor International Women's Day

"But I am certainly going to be active in supporting women running for office and other candidates who I think should be reelected or elected, both women and men," Clinton said.

I'm disappointed. In a better world, she'd run and win. But the Repughs will demonize the crap out of her and Bill if she were to run again. It's fucking awful that we can't elect a woman as so clearly qualified for President because we have a political party of Deplorables.

Even if she wanted back in the game, 2024 doesn't seem to offer the opportunity.

Ms. Clinton should not run as we don't deserve her. We had our chance and blew it.

They could have asked her input on foreign or domestic affairs, but this?

"But I am certainly going to be active in supporting women running for office and other candidates who I think should be reelected or elected, both women and men," Clinton said.
Something she's always been involved in since her college days, actually.

I'd hope to hear more of her brilliant mind, speaking publicly on foreign & global affairs as well as her sincere detailed policy directives of our domestic needs.

... the only answer is no. She also praises Biden whenever asked. I trust the 2016 popular winner will be working where she can help for the midterms and, later, to re-elect Biden/Harris!

She won't push Joe out. But I wish she could have pushed Trump out.

His plan needed a goodly portion of low profile high octane plans.

It would seem obvious that Mrs Clinton is either truly retired or super low profile.

In general, this is not a productive thread.

But let's move forward now. When Joe decides he's finished I'd love to see the younger generation take over.

I like Kamala and I like Mayor Pete.

I'd have love to see her run, too. But when the time comes, I'd love to see Kamala run, too.
