Zelenskyy warns Russian soldiers to not believe their commanders 'when they tell you that you still

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reiterated his message to Russian soldiers that they should not believe their commanding officers.

"Do not believe your commanders when they tell you that you still have a chance in Ukraine," he said in a Wednesday address. "Nothing is waiting for you here. Except for captivity, except for death."

"You take our lives and give yours," his address continued. "And we know — we have communications interception — that your commanders already understand everything."

Zelenskyy's stern warning comes just days after a scathing New York Times report that said Russian soldiers on the front lines in Ukraine were not told they would be going into war.

8. They thought Ukrainian forces would see those multiple lines of tanks and run away

It was a massive miscalculation. Now they have 2 choices: totally destroy the country and take temporary possession that will be marked by a strong resistance bleeding them dry until they leave; or negotiate a neutral Ukraine, declare victory, and leave.

The former option would involve pulling all the massed troops away from the Baltic states and Finnish border (where he's also been doing a lot of weenie waving over the last 4 years or so) and using them to flatten Ukraine while crushing his hopes of grabbing all those Baltic sea ports again. He might be just wigged out enough to do this but one wonders if his commanders would follow the orders.

If he takes the second option, he will be eating crow but he'll come out of this as a great Russian leader.

And no one inside his military out outside his country will ever believe a word he says.
