General Discussion

is doing now in Ukraine. His conduct is in no way controlled or effected by such civilized notions.
Thus, he agrees to safe evacuation corridors and then shells the women and children who use them.
He targets hospitals and nuclear reactors and kindergartens.
He uses cluster bombs and thermobaric bombs in residential areas.
In short, he is an amoral psychopath who has no conscience, no shame and no compunction about genocide and no fear of war crimes trials.
Our choice seems to be either to kill Putin---which may mean finding him in Moscow---BEFORE he "pushes the button" OR----watch as thousands more innocent Ukraines are literally torn to pieces in living color on our nightly cable news.
If the decision would impact only me, I know which course I would choose. But, the decision will impact the entire world and I am thankful that it is not mine to make.
A very good man has to make this decision. His name is Joe and I support him---PERIOD---FULL STOP.

(4,845 posts)I trust that Biden will make the right decision at the right time. I know what is happening in Ukraine is hard to see. But I know Biden is aching more than me and wanting to help more than me. It is just that his decision could trigger big consequence so he and his administration, military generals will make the best decision for the time.

Oh, by the way, this song was written by Buffy-Saint-Marie"
