Are the UN and Nato

just buying time until someone can get to putin and end all this ?
It seems as if this may be the case as the death toll just keeps climbing while putin commits crime after crime openly.

and Ukraine will fight this war themselves, at least for now. They want specific aides and helps but he is not asking for troops on the ground from the west or NATO yet. There might come a time they will need it but it's not the time yet.
