(32,639 posts)Politics aside, ... that's just wrong. There should be no Russian judges in a position to influence the outcome of any Olympic event. They're especially egregious in the Winter Olympics, for obvious reasons.

(5,586 posts)Where we all gather to enjoy sports, and compete in friendly competition.
That mentality has frayed in the last few years, with Russia cheating in Sochi, and the Chinese national mission to prove their national physical prowess.
Kicking countries out would just make matters worse, and drive us further into this Cold War 2.0 mentality.
