Chris Hayes just confirmed: No-Fly Zone would be minimally beneficial to Ukraine

Hayes just confirmed with a retired Admiral that the vast majority of air attacks in Ukraine are from artillery and guided missiles, most launched from within Russia, with only a small percentage dropped from planes.

It seems much more effective to get the MIG fighters to Ukraine than try and close the skies instead.

they are using infrared detectors to find the Ukrainian defenders with their shoulder fired javelins.

We need to give the Ukrainians more javelins, more stingers, and more of those Turkish drones.

4. can't, RA has AAGM too and nearly as effective as the west. There's no more "air war" like in WWII

... in urban areas, hell even in open areas without 5th gen models like the F-35

Hell, even then its tricky ...

There is a LOT of WWII type thinking when it comes to war still when tech has changed the landscape to make smaller countries on par with larger ones that don't have nukes.

Look at the S and E of Ukraine, the RA is having a hard time even down there and there are reports of RA troops dismounting and fighting non conventional because their vehicles are death traps

Most guess who answer the same questions are not “currently” in administration or the military and give you different answers. No wonder people get confused on this subject.
