This is a very strong warning against attacks on supply chains. In fact, it also gives NATO a strong tool to force Russian forces into specific areas in Ukraine without firing a shot.

FWIW I think all these examples are quite a bit different from Russia attacking a NATO convoy ColinC Mar 2022 #7

UK dropped a hint today as to what Russia will run headfirst into, should they defy these warnings.

Pentagon has to be overridden by CIC on the jets, now. NATO has to invoke Article 5 NOW...Like someone on that thread said, WW3 has already started.

All of the choices! You do this, you get that. You get that and the world explodes. We're making the concessions because we care about the planet and love it while Putin doesn't give a damn about anything, so he continues to make demands. I don't know how many choices are left, but I really think the choices are very few now.

Sounds great, but upon closer examination, this does not reflect a change in NATO policy. It’s a rehashing of Article 5, that’s all.

While it doesn't reflect a change in policy in any way, it is seemingly reinforcing the fact that these supply chains won't be affected by Russia's actions. And also likely limits Russia's ability to completely encircle Kyiv.

I understand, my point is that NATO will not tolerate interference with a convoy while it’s still on NATO territory, but once a convoy enters Ukraine, the Stoltenberg statement does not offer it any protection.
