Would we do anything if Russia used nuclear or chemical weapons in Ukraine? We've already seen them commit war crimes and atrocities. What if Russian soldiers started to commit war crimes on the scale of the Rape of Nanjing?
Or have we written Ukraine off and are waiting for Putin to attack a NATO country?

(1,919 posts)There won't be any direct military action unless NATO is attacked first. We simply are not going to fight directly with another nuclear power unless absolutely necessary. And absolutely necessary is essentially limited to attacks against us or treaty bound allies.
