1. From what I hear they are not doing a lot of medical work on the soldiers so maybe it is not

3x with Russian soldiers. They certainly seem expendable to Putin.

3. How will they repatriate the wounded without the families finding out how it happened?

I find it ironic how the Russian people instinctively hate the the Nazis so much, not just because of WWII but specifically the siege of Stalingrad and what that inflicted on the Russian civilians and the terrible consequences. Then Putin turns around and uses the siege (bombing, shelling, turning off power, withholding supplies) over and over. This is the same technique he used before in Aleppo. It is sickening to watch those scenes.
