LAURA INGRAHAM (HOST): When did our public schools, any schools, become what are essentially grooming centers for gender identity radicals? As a mom, I think it's appalling, it's frightening, it's disgusting, it's despicable. Florida just passed a bill to keep this type of sexual brainwashing out of schools. Democrats, though, claim the bill is bigoted, branding it as the "Don't Say Gay Bill." Well, nice try. The real controversy, though, isn't this bill. It's that schools are peddling gender ideology when our international rankings in math, science, and reading are down across the board.

I can tell you from my own experience that false accusations of being a sexual predator are used to get people targeted - either by law enforcement, vigilantes, or both. This is beyond dangerous. And they fucking know it.

23. When I was in school

a lifetime ago, granted... we were groomed to be desirable by men as wives. That meant looking a certain way, dressing to please a man, learning to cook and learning to sew our own clothes (so we wouldn't be spending HIS hard earned money on ourselves). From there, we became to be looked upon more as sexual objects both in school and in ads and IRL. Boys weren't given the equal education, they were given the option of work-ready classes.

I have no idea how I managed to make it thru school alive and in one piece. I never fit anyone's mold for a desirable girl. I was always overweight. I was smart; I graduated in the top 10 of my class, and that was without studying - without trying at all in any way. I still can't sew. The seams of the first skirt I ever tried to sew pulled apart and the skirt fell off me in pieces; I still can't sew - can't even figure out how to thread the dumb machine! This, even tho I can pull apart a computer and fix whatever is wrong with it, as well as most any other electronic system. I did finally learn to cook. And, thanks to lupus and fibromyalgia, my weight dropped to 95 pounds once my age hit 65. Far too old to be counted as "sexy" according to that world I grew up in.

There were so many times I wanted to commit suicide because I just didn't fit in, wasn't sexy and could never see myself ever being a "catch" for any man. I hated my body and I ended up hating myself most of my teenage years. Thankfully, after one failed marriage, I met a man who saw the beauty in me, nurtured my vivacious spirit, and loved the way my mind worked. He was as feminist as I was at that time.

What they're doing to kids today is even so much worse than what I went thru; and yet I can empathize so much. Teen years, especially, is about finding your way... finding someplace to "fit in"... and yet what FL, TX, ID, etc are doing is not only ripping that way from todays teens, they're drilling it into them that they're fundamentally "wrong." These kids have no doubt fought that feeling of "wrongness" for years within themselves. They need love and support... not validation of evil differentiation. If I had my way, we'd ban religion in this country. I never used to be this way, but education and -their- sense of morality IS one of Dominionism's 7 Hills, and they're either going to make us bow down to it this time, or kill us trying.
