Russia, at a population of 2 percent of the world (144M out of 7.4 Billion) doesn't really represent a big loss in potential customers.

Of course, as a modern society with disposable income, you might think that Russia is waaay more important than simply a percentage of world population given that so many of those 7.4 Billion are poor people.

But Pooty, here is the deal.. you just bankrupted your nation... you ARE (or very soon) will be counted as some of the world's poorest people... possibly barely able to feed and clothe yourself. Yes, you have gas and oil... we in the west will adapt (as we should anyway) to do without.

You are about to be a heavily armed unimportant people.

And, about that heavily armed part... Apparently the modernization effort over the last 15 years was wasted... some lightly armed much smaller nation is kicking your military ass. Your answer was to start killing civilians. We will never forgive you for that. Your entire country just became a "gray area" on the map for the rest of the world... might as well be Antarctica.

Eurasia and Eastasia
