I suppose it might enhance local sales directly from the dairies, but there is real risk.

I know as a kid back in the 50's/early 60's we'd often get raw milk from the locak dairies. We survived, but that doesn't make it right.

They think pasteurization removes the important god-given cow's milk properties! Freedumb!

As the rest of the world marches forward is truly stunning in Republican circles. Deregulation and stripping away consumer health protections/warnings is now equated with FREEDUMBS, the kind that can kill.

Hey, if you can convince people that a deadly virus is a hoax, you can sell anything.

was raw from a cow that a friend milked by hand while he sang to her. I got a gallon every week one summer. One week I thought it tasted faintly of strawberry. I mentioned it to the friend and he was like "oh, yea, she's been grazing on wild strawberries." I've also gotten raw milk from slightly larger commercial operations subject to regulations, and the bottles had an advisory / warning label. The problem with this bill is the lack of regulation. Raw milk is generally fine if your source is clean and sanitary
