Just had a nice surprise. I have caller ID and my first call this morning popped up as SPAM?

with the location of the call.

Just had the second call that popped up ROBO? from Clinton in some such state.

Numbers on both calls were such that I wouldn't have answered them anyway, but how nice to take away the guessing.

The area codes have been from all over. The latest from New Mexico.

I rarely get legit calls on my landline. But I’m afraid that if I unbundle it from my other stuff (Internet, cable), it will be a cluster.

And with or without Caller ID, I don’t answer numbers I don’t recognize.

I guess they have given up on saying they are from my city/state. It's a nice feature.

.

They spoof local numbers like the police, fire department, stores, and random numbers.

Every number is different so NoMoRobo doesn't work.
