Just voted in Gwinnett County Georgia. Stood in line for 2 1/2 hours.

Voted in Dacula Ga this afternoon. Long line. It is discouraging to know your vote doesn't matter in a Republican state, but it still felt good to vote for President Obama again

In the southern part of Gwinnett County the lines were very very long and there were many African Americans and Hispanic voters. Thank you for voting!

old white people.

I know I shouldn't stereotype because most people here in Ga look at me (white, married, 39) and assume I'm a Repub. so maybe some of the old white people were Democrats.

No vote in any state for the Obama-Biden Democratic ticket is a wasted vote. Who knows, you may carry some down-ticket Democrats that'll help swing congress back to Nancy Pelosi or Harry Reid.

It counts a great deal towards the popular vote. President Obama will need both, because that's one less thing for the RWNJ to scream about.

I voted in Utah for many years, and never felt my vote didn't matter because there's the important down ticket races, and mentally it means a lot to be able to exercise your precious right to vote.

I know how you feel though. I'm in SC. I only stood in line for approx 25mins, but I heard someone say there were approx 29k voters yesterday.
