Since its takeover by the Murdoch family in 2016, and the subsequent sale of Murdoch's remaining shares in Sky Britain to Comcast, Sky News Australia has no relation to the British Sky News.

(9,895 posts)Nice to have more than just BBC World to turn to...when I was in Europe last fall my wife and I noted the HUGE differences in news coverage and TV in general...suffice it to say, they don't let people come on and spew nothing but inuendo and fact-free partisan rants every 15 minutes!

(14,061 posts)I like it, and with rapidly developing events, MSNBC can keep up with breaking news. MSNBC has never had the same resources as CNN for overnight coverage, and I think this makes more sense than rerunning the previous nights shows.
Im not sure, though, if this includes weekends. Im typically not up that early to see.
