(10,423 posts)I hope Pelosi puts a lien on Traitor Green's personal assets. A few more months and we might get to see Pelosi seize her house.

(64,867 posts)In major team sports, fines are used to fund the leagues' charity arms.
Players who are fined get to take that deduction. So, they don't pay taxes on money they didn't actually get.
I guess it depends on where the Speaker directs that fine money.
I'd be ok if she gave it to Planned Parenthood!.
Yeah, mtg would avoid the taxes but she'll have donated to PP. That's a kick in her rear!

(64,867 posts)If it's recycled to Treasury, a case could be made that she didn't actually earn the salary. Hence, not taxable.
I'm not a tax accountant, but it seems like the fines would have to repurposed in some way to be taxable.

(14,624 posts)She will keep disrupting and making an ass out of herself because she has no committee assignments, nothing to do all day while she's in DC, so she keeps squawking for attention so the rubes will send her more money. And they will.

(11,726 posts)Given the details we know about Greene's life, it appears that she has been irresponsible for a long time. Personal growth is unlikely a strong suit for her.

(1,569 posts)Her district is heavily red, if I remember right that she is in northern Georgia. So, she could live off of her "fame" for quite a while unless they get sick of her.
