He won’t get it now.

I have literally seen video of a Texas officer, when told a person doesn’t have to ID unless lawfully arrested, read 38.02(a) ALOUD, then slam the book shut with a triumphant smirk, and again demand ID from a detainee. It’s infuriating.

What’s with his hands on his shirt? Chewing gum? He clearly doesn’t know the law and costs taxpayers $125,000 for this incident and he still has his job?
