I just heard that now on the ABC evening News on TV.
Apparently Putin was expecting Ukraine to surrender after only a couple days and it's now been 2 weeks.
Russia wasn't prepared for this.

1. I read a few weeks ago that the Russians have mobile crematoriums

in Ukraine to take care of the dead and possibly hide the number of deaths from the Russian population.

He has no understanding of what people will do for love. The self-sacrifice they are willing to make. That people around the world are ready, willing and able to personally sacrifice in support of people half-way around the world seems to have caught him completely off guard. I can’t help but think of the scene in the original How the Grinch Stole Christmas when he hears the Who’s singing and he just can’t understand how Christmas came anyway.

4. News also reported that many young Russian men are leaving country to not be drafted into war

The report from a woman in Russia stated that men are leaving Russia because of fear that Putin will resort to a draft.
