March 11 (Reuters) - A Texas judge on Friday temporarily blocked the state from investigating the parents of transgender children who provide them with gender-transitioning medical treatments.
Travis County District Court Judge Amy Clark Meachum issued a statewide temporary injunction on the probes after the American Civil Liberties Union sued Texas Governor Greg Abbott over his order to investigate parents providing the treatments, which he called "child abuse."

(1,962 posts)Now to find a way to change this block from temporary to permanent.. Then find a way to stop these thugs before they scheme up something else to hurt trans people - especially kids.
Once again: The only people who are guilty of child abuse here are Abbott, Paxton and the Texbekistan QOP.

This is going to town into another Brown v Board of Education, isn't it? This is going to have to enforced with some muscle, isn't it?
Again, as I've said more than once this week: It's time to take action, Biden. Nothing else is going to get through to these Nazis. Since their narrow minds can only understand shows of force, well, it's time for them to see one from the federal level.
Abbott is beyond disgusting. I don't know what else I can say without utterly fucking snapping, honestly. Just that if there is any justice in this world, we're about 8 months from celebrating Beto O'Rourke becoming the new governor of Texas.
