(32,639 posts)The one on the left is the motor-powered yacht, while the one on the right is the sailing yacht.
Here's the sailing yacht with the sails up, it doesn't look so ugly:
Maybe they've both been seized.

(19,201 posts)Unlike the other oligarchs, at least he has the option (the crew has the option) of sailing the expensive hole in the water, rather than wasting fuel. That greatly increases its range.
These oligarchs are going to start missing their expensive toys, especially with spring and summer approaching. Where will they take the young girls they buy for their "pleasure cruises" (their pleasure, not the women).
$600,000,000 is an obscene amount of money to spend on any type of water craft. Think of the good that amount of money could do for the people of Russia.

(14,574 posts)these billionaires are nothing but parasites.
Who in heck needs a thing like this? Why? Why would anyone ever want to have this millstone around their neck to worry about? See, this is the disease that besets these freakish, abnormal people - the constant worry about keeping what they have, the fear they will lose something, and the constant ache for more, more, more.
What a hellish existance.
Ah, I have an idea! What about a confiscatory WEALTH TAX?
Why, if we imposed something like that, we could all have healthcare! Dental care! Subsidies for childcare for young families! Affordable, debt-free college! Think of it - everyone having what they need. Novel concept in this capitalist utopia.
And yeah, I know it belongs to some Russian oligarch, but we have plenty of our own. Still, in keeping with the OP, I do hope the confiscation of this awful thing spurs the Russian billionaire parasites to overthrow Putin who is himself a huge parasite.
