The airfield in Vasylkiv, Kyiv Oblast, was attacked by Russian forces with 8 missiles, said mayor Nataliia Balasynovych. The local oil depot has also been destroyed, while an ammunition depot caught fire.

An oil terminal in Vasylkiv, Kyiv region, caught fire following an air strike.
According to Ukrinform, Oleksiy Kuleba, the head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration, said this on Telegram.

"An oil depot is on fire in Vasylkiv after an air strike. In the village of Kriachky, the occupier fired at the oil depot at night," Kuleba said.

There were reports of Polish-owned fighters being transferred to Ukr.

Then "they" backed off of that, and said they were talking about transferring them. Looked like it was green-lighted before it was decided that the decision hadn't really been made, just announced. It didn't matter since, well, most of the bombing is artillery shelling.

In parallel, it was announced that two Patriot anti-missile batteries would be moved into Ukraine. When the planes were nixed, the idea of moving the Patriot batteries was also canned--it would require Americans go to with them, if only to train Ukrainians. No American troops would be on the ground in Ukraine (nor in the air over Ukraine).

Next night, Ukraine time, bombardment of cities far from the Russian ground forces revved up and airfields were suddenly under much greater attack.
