The stock market is crazy - Here's some calming advice from Warren Buffet

Are we officially in a market correction? Sure looks like it to this old girl. I'm losing money like a leaky faucet. I turned to Warren Buffet for some guidance and reassurance. Thought you might also feel the need to hear some calming advice.

This article is not new, but it's advice is timeless:

but I do want to note that over the long term - years or decades - there are periods of time when the market underperforms or goes down. 1929-33, 1968-82, 1987, 2001-2009. We are overdue. Investing at the top, overpaying, is the worst investment of all. And specific asset classes experience those types of fluctuations too. Bonds, commodities, metals, tech stocks, cyclicals, even investing styles.

Personally i'm trying to head to the sidelines while carving some slices of volatile stocks. I need my first does of anaesthesia. China is killing me.

John Hussman posts market commentaries that reflect the bear perspective. We may be at a very difficult point in time.

It was said as I recall by Bill Miller in a WealthTrack interview recently that software will deliver the value in the years ahead. But he also thinks Amazon is the place to be. I can agree with the theme and find some domestic ideas. But I'm looking to hunker down and pick great growth investments when the dust settles.
