(101,272 posts)Stalin died of natural causes; Caesar from a conspiracy (though he wasn't particularly egregious among powerful Romans at the time; there had been declared or undeclared civil war for almost a century before that, and was for another decade or so after; none of them at his time was particularly honourable). Then there were emperors, many objectively more evil than Julius Caesar, for centuries. Should we count up the months they died in? And dictators in other countries and ages?

Paul l was killed on March 24th
All in all March is a bad month for Russian Leaders.
Fingers crossed for the tradition to continue.
