Please don't forget the poor animals in Ukraine

I, as a Ukrainian American, thank you for your love and support of the Ukrainian people. The refugees, the soldiers, and the insurgents. All need your help and your prayers (Ukrainians are very religious).

That said, please don't forget about the animals, the pets and the zoo animals. I don't know of a reputable institution to send help to (anyone know??) but your prayers for them will go a long way. The abandoned pets and the animals in zoos -- they all need us too.

Thank you

of the animals and pets, and of the Ukrainians who had to flee and leave their beloved animals behind. It's an additional measure of heartbreak on top of everything else.

Is a subsidiary of the American Humane Society. It likely has the largest outreach of any organization. They are currently accepting donations to a special Ukrainian Rescue Fund. I donated through them.

I also saw a report on CNN last night that said a Polish Rescue/Dvm is going daily into Ukraine and taking animals out of shelters, bringing them back to their clinic and helping them. Some of whom were left there by people who couldn’t bring them with them when they left. There was was a baby goat someone had brought to them where they are caring for it was life they saved- the family plans to pick up the baby goat when they can. I didn’t get the name of that clinic/ group.

will never forget these innocent animals. I prefer the company of my dogs over most humans.

Thank you for the post!

Protect all the animals in Ukraine.
Spare them from fear during this war, keep away the bombs, hunger and death, keep them safe until they be reunited with thier people. For the ones without people may they be brought out to safety.
If the russians dare hurt any of them,

Sekhmet
Use your mighty claws and teeth to rend them apart. Burn them with your unquenchable fire.
