If this is really a charity event, and the money goes to orphans or refugees (or something honorable), then I'd give it a pass. Julius Jones knew what he was getting into, he made a choice. NFL players do participate in fundraisers like this, but it's normally not done for politicians. That's the shameful part.

Melania was recently auctioning off a worthless NFT on her website that was scheduled to be a monthly issue (the first one didn't sell. It was an image of two eyeballs heavily made-up, presumably her own). A month later it was bought back by the seller.
Wonder if skimming off the top was planned like it was alleged to have happened with the inauguration funds?
Is there's some desperation to raise money here, or is it all just what a family of cons do while the name is still hot?
