I often tease her about "typing to morons". She enjoys sparring. She is also good at separating our home grown right wing morons from the St. Petersburg crew. The St. Petersburg (or wherever they actually are) crew seems to have closed up shop.

(3,695 posts)I'm also not seeing anti-Biden bullsh*t trending after midnight. I always knew it's wasn't Americans driving the anti-Biden hatred at 2:00 AM.

(1,288 posts)Maybe they've gotten more sophisticated, but I posted on the WaPo boards a lot during the 2016 election and there were many Russians whose English was so poor that it was very easy to spot them if you read one or two sentences of their posts.
I remember one who kept referring to Hillary as "the housewife". He was so obviously not American that I didn't understand how these trolls could be having any effect, other than unintended humor. It was like reading posts from Dan Akroyd's and Steve Martin's wild & crazy guys from Saturday Night Live.

(28,075 posts)though there's a couple of new ones that have me wondering how they got through.
Also, The View's twitter feed seems to have fewer around, though again, there's a couple really nasty ones hanging on.

(7,722 posts)mostly writing in Russian, which of course I don't understand, and Russian flags. There are responses from, I'm guessing, Russian and Ukrainian Americans pushing back in English. It's a new tactic and I'm certain is coordinated.

(312 posts)Seems a tiny bit more peaceful. While we may all disagree (were Democrats, we do it well!), it all just seems ..less acerbic?
