Journalists die in war, too. But can we please use the best terms to describe it.

A journalist who chooses to go to an active battlefield that is taking incoming ordnance and is killed by that ordnance can be termed as having been killed

A journalist who is wearing press credentials while reporting on a war's back story shot dead in close contact with one force's combatants must be termed as having been MURDERED.
