I never changed it the last time. I went around today and changed the time on a number of clocks, though. Really, I get the time mostly on my computer monitor or cell phone. However, my wife and I like clocks, so we have several analog clocks around our house.
Time, of course, is always relative. It's pretty much a construct of society. Mostly, having the precise time of the day isn't all that important to us, since we both work at home and have for years. I'm retired now, but I'm still at my desk most of the time, doing similar things to what I did before.

Two years ago right after we moved into this house I changed the main big wall clock. Loved that clock. Bought it at Target 20 years ago I think.
I stepped back to make sure it was hung right...watched in slow motion as it slipped off the screw in the wall...hit the mantelpiece....and crashed onto the ground. We have a replacement but I havent been able to find another clock that looks like it. 😡
I have this weird ability to always know what time it is. If I wake at night I stop and guess at the time then look at my bedside clock and Im never off by more than 10 minutes. My buddies always test me on the golf course too. Same results.

Two wall clocks need changing. For some reason I havent done a thing about it yet. I like clocks too. Ill be doing the same thing today at the same time despite the clocks.
Oh well, I still know what time it is. I let the chickens out at the same time as far as they were concerned, though my phone said differently. The time change thing used to annoy me immensely, but I try and ignore it now.
Ill probably get around to changing all the analogs tomorrow. Maybe.

(146,192 posts)I did that with one car I had. I never did figure out how to change the clock. It was right part of the year anyhow.

(32,351 posts)It corrects itself automatically. I keep it in the bathroom, so it's the first clock I see, most mornings.

I wish to hell that they would decide on one system, or split the difference and quit screwing around with the way we measure a day. I didn't like it the first time they did it, and I haven't come around since. The give the entire nation jet-lag at the same time, and twice a year, and we put up with it...
