The logic of the post may be somewhat shaky, but I do not understand why the few fundies I know are so much more afraid of death than my secular friends, who seem happier in getting the most out of this life and content to let what comes after (if anything at all) remain a mystery.

Why don't they (religionists) embrace a cancer diagnosis that will bring them closer to meeting their savior? Why do they buy any health insurance at all?
