Hi,
I am about to go to the Pharmacy to pick up a prescription that will cost me over $200 and that is just the tip of my monthly iceberg of prescriptions.

I’d suggest Medicaid for all. Medicare still costs people a lot of money whereas in Medicaid costs for the consumer are practically zero.

Health care system and NOT the best health care. We lag in many areas. Follow the money.

Medicare is terrible compared to private health insurance, whether from employers or Obamacare. Medicare has the drug donut hole and no maximum out-of-pocket (MOOP). Start with something called "National Health Insurance" as a public option, imo. Make it excellent, low-cost insurance that employers can buy in competition with UHC.

I think the "Medicare for all" label is just bad sales. A lot of folks on our side hear it and think, "Well, it works, and costs are low." I used to think it was a good label too for that reason. But I no longer do. Use the infrastructure of Medicare, sure. But beef up the coverage and call it something different.
