President Barack Obama may have voted for Mitt Romney yesterday when he cast his Early Vote at the Martin Luther King Community Center in Chicago's 4th Ward. Nobody knows for sure. Even him.

He cast his vote on a 100% unverifiable touch-screen e-voting system made by Sequoia Voting Systems (which is now owned by a Canadian firm named Dominion Voting.) It is scientifically impossible to ever know if his vote was recorded accurately, as per his itent, or not on that type of voting system.

1. MN uses the scan versions

That are like the SATs. You fill out a paper ballot, the machine scans it, and they keep the ballot for recounts. I think that is the best method that I've voted on. I've used unverified E-voting in FL, and punch cards in TX and FL (including the infamous butterfly ballot in 2000). Those ones without a paper back up trail are insane.

2. Same with Wisconsin

Optical scan that's fed in the machine immediately, with paper trail. Best way to do it, IMO.

I voted on a butterfly ballot years ago. Those things are awful!
