An Oct. 23-24 poll (MoE +/- 4%) from the Democratic Project New America and USAction groups has Barack Obama leading Mitt Romney in Florida 47 percent to 45 percent:

...The gender gap has widened since our last poll on October 17-18. Women now provide the President a 13-point lead (52% Obama, 39% Romney) while men opt for Romney by 11 points (52% Romney, 41% Obama).

Obama wins Independent voters right now (49% Obama, 33% Romney), though the race is close among white Independents (43% to 41%)...

Florida's early voting period has been cut from 14 to 8 days with no Sunday voting next week. They have to have huge increases in daily vote totals to match or exceed last year's totals, something in the neighborhood of 43% per day. I hope they get that and more.

I think the bottom line is, there are a lot of people who LOVE our President, myself included. Has he waved his magic wand and made all the shit from the past 40 years go away? No. But given a 2nd term, he will make sure we're on the right path to do just that.
