would remember the soviets didn't surrender, They took a much worse beating than what Russia is handing out to it's former ally. weathered it, and came back. I'm sure everyone in the USSR has been well indoctrinated to this.

The high number on those who support Putrids war is 70% which is still low of an authoritarian country who's cut off a lot of western news sources.
There perspective of this war must be like how RayGun sent troops into Grenada and it was an easy quick 2 week thing.
Most likely they're not even reporting on the war as we see it in the west
That's why I pray the economic shock hits hard and fast, then people will look up and think if this was an operation like Afganistan why the hell can't I get toilet paper.
China is going to have to come through BIG time for that shock not to hit hard ... I give em till the end of April

(14,063 posts)Putin had an older sibling who died during the siege of Leningrad. Putin was born later; but you'd think he would have some empathy for people being starved out by military siege.
