While I tested negative earlier this week, I tested positive for COVID-19 this morning.

After the Omicron variant's peak it declined and reached its new plateau, which is high compared to the low plateaus of past waves. Countries like S Korea, Germany, etc are seeing new highs this week.

3. Low vaccination rate in Russia, too.

I thought of that at the beginning of the invasion seeing some photos of Russian soldiers packed in a room like sardines. And then seeing photos of so many Ukrainians fleeing, hardly any of them wearing masks.

Hopefully most of them will get vaccinated in the countries they've fled to.
