People's Convoy Trucker Punches D.C. Driver's Window in Road Rage Fit

A trucker member of the so-called “People’s Convoy” apparently can’t hack it in D.C. traffic and engaged in a little road rage on Monday afternoon, getting out of his truck to confront a driver and punch his window. During his own live stream, truck driver John Bigard, host of the OTR Survival YouTube channel, was seen getting out of his vehicle on U.S. 395 and confronting a driver who seemingly attempted to merge from a far left lane towards an exit. At one point, Bigard was seen yelling at the driver before repeatedly striking the driver side window of the silver car. Upon getting back into his truck, the convoy trucker appeared to mock the driver’s accent while calling him a “fucking idiot.” People’s Convoy organizers and the D.C. metro police didn’t immediately respond to The Daily Beast’s request for comment on the incident. This was not the anti-vaccine mandate trucker convoy’s first episode of road rage, as they have been spitefully boxing in cars in response to drivers giving them the middle finger. “We will continue to address any violations of the law while we maintain the free flow of traffic,” a Maryland State Police official told The Daily Beast Monday morning.

If the truck driver get upset by traffic like that, he's out of his league driving in DC.

I know that exit well. It's like that on every day that ends in a "y." If that's too much for him, he needs to go back home.

Nit to pick: this is not the Beltway.

A trucker with The People’s Convoy gets out of their truck and punches the window of a Beltway commuter.

Is like Mad Max without the dudes swinging from flexible poles between cars. FluTruxKlan had NO IDEA of this when they decided to fuck with DC-area residents. One does not simply drive on the Beltway at rush hour. One girds their loins and does battle.

Houston and San Antonio I’m cool with. I can’t imagine anything worse than Atlanta.

People's Convoy Truckers Threatening Average D.C. Commuters In Drive Through Capital

One has to wonder why their movement isn't more popular?

By Erin Marquis
Yesterday 5:00PM

For the first time since the protest coalesced and hour and a half outside of D.C. on February 23, the People’s Convoy finally entered the capital Monday, bringing traffic to a standstill while spending some time harassing commuters in the process.

First, this video posted by Zachary Petrizzo, media reporter for the Daily Beast, shows a People’s Convoy trucker walk up to a passenger car and knock on the driver’s window while he shouts at them:

{snip}

To bleach your brain of this nonsense, here’s a story about Ukrainian truck drivers risking their lives to bring much needed supplies to their home country. They are the real heroes in these hard times.
