and the years later. Atlanta local sportscasters seemed to hang on his every utterance-such as they were. Even speaking to football, he came across this way. Clearly, no time spent in college (yeah, I know) or since has changed his baseline level of knowledge/intellect.

Ironically, even the neuronal synapse-lacking former guy is probably laughing at this--even if he is promoting him.

Well, the short time he was at UGA anyway. I've heard numerous anecdotes of SEC football and basketball athletes who were, and probably still are, functionally illiterate. Even today with supposed academic standards. Probably much the same across all of Div I.

A lot of star athletes are allowed to slip through high school with poor grades, which continues at the university level. They'll be offered crip courses in order to keep their grades up, and never actually learn much of anything. It's an especially common here in the South, where football is THE main religion. I don't know if Walker is actually stupid, or just abysmally-educated. I lean toward the latter, especially when it comes to science, and evolution, in particular.

The dumber they are the more the Republicans like them. Walker made fame and fortune in life by running over people. In a system where brawn is valued over brain, he should not be wasting his time running for the Senate, but for the Presidency.

Judging by the path of the Republican Party is taking, their next nominee for President may be a garbage truck. It is big and strong and crushes the opposition. At least that would be an improvement over Greene, Walker, or a host of other Republican politicians.

We share a common ancestor with all primates, including monkeys, and a closer ancestor with apes, and a closer ancestor with "Great Apes", and a closer one with chimpanzees and bonobos. Each of our distinct species separated and continued on with our clade splitting again many times until we are all that is left of the Homo family Homo Sapiens Sapiens.

There are still other Apes because we haven't managed to kill them all off yet.
