There are at least two main dimensions, but actually a multitude of them, one for every variation of every issue. In mathematical terms some of the dimensions are not very divergent from others but still people can differ in thousands of ways.

The two main ones are fiscal policy and social policy.

This fundamental error is why the duopoly is a rather flawed system. Today's polarization is a natural outcome.

It is also why the RepubliCon party and CONservatives in general are split between the more tolerant more centrist Romney Bush wing versus the tRump-Q wing. The tolerance split is mostly along social issues rather than fiscal issues. Both wings tend to like low taxes especially for the rich and low spending. But the tolerant wing is more willing to get along with socially liberal Democrats whereas the intolerant Deplorable wing foams at the mouth about a "woke military", J6 "political prisoners", and has racist views.

There are many examples of it. For example, my generation recalls a real nutball named Lyndon LaRouche who was either a fascist or an ultralib on many issues. More recently, the antivaxxers tend to be either far left or far right. It’s more a matter of being removed from reality.

They have both fascist and ultra left positions but for example if you ask them about social issues they are probably closer to the Republicans.

Followed by the 'donate' button.

I can name quite a list of Back Women who are elected & lead at the top of the Vice Presidential & the Progressive line of serious Black Women elected by the Democratic Party..& that's just for today.

The candidate making this statement needs to remove that D from their political affiliation.
It's clear the intent is to undermine our solid base, & stupid lies like this one are intentional.

The Center is the Balance of serving all people, & its not the extreme ends of that populist horseshoe.

There is a lot of Russian propaganda that targets the left and it is openly rampant on social media and other websites. I actually feel sorry for people that prefer to read that awful propaganda.

There is also the Russian propaganda that targets the right.

Edit: People on the left have been pushing back against the propagandists.

Nomiki who is what you would consider “far left” have been pushing back against them for years. So have many others such as @themattdimitri who covers all the propagandists.
